ASA-PVC Coextrusion products, also known as polymer modified materials, adopt multi-layer composite one-time forming technology, and do not use any toxic adhesive between the protective layer and the core. The surface of the profile is covered with a dense and evenly distributed polymer protective layer, and the core material is composed of wood powder, modified PVC and other additives.

The excellent performance of Buwei's outdoor products are: mildew proof, corrosion-resistant, non cracking and non pulverizing, strong weather resistance, stable color, stain and scratch resistance, no need for paint maintenance, no need for additional maintenance.The service life is up to 10-20 years.



 
ASA refers to the terpolymer of acrylonitrile (a), styrene (s) and acrylate (a), whose structural formula is:

-[- ch2-ch (C5H5) - ch2-ch (CN) -] n - or

-[-CH2-CH(C5H5)-CH(CN)-CH2-]n-
 
The performance characteristics of ASA can be summarized as follows:

1. ASA is a kind of amorphous terpolymer, which has a saturated main chain structure and does not contain double bonds, so it has a strong tolerance to ultraviolet. Carbonyl and nitrile groups in macromolecular chains have strong UV resistance, while benzene ring is a typical stable structure, which is difficult to produce photochemical reaction. Therefore, ASA has strong UV resistance, stable color and excellent weather resistance.

2. Due to the introduction of acrylate rubber into ASA structure, the copolymer has excellent impact resistance, especially at low temperature.

3. ASA has strong chemical resistance because of its nitrile group.

4. The solubility parameters of ASA and PVC are very close, they have good solubility, rheological properties and thermal expansion coefficient are more close.

5. ASA has good thermal stability in the process of processing, the temperature of thermal deformation can reach 92 ºC, and the fillet strength of coextrusion profile and PVC profile is basically the same.
